Tagging videos & content for the hubs

The site has aggregated hubs (the Christian community hub being the first) that pull in content from every section based on its tags. Tagging well = your content reaches the people who care about it.

Where you add tags

• Videos — the "Tags" field on the submit form.
• Classifieds / Listings / Forum threads — usually inline on the post form; some plugins still rely on admins adding tags after publish.
• Prayer requests / community needs — admins can tag these from the moderation panel; future versions of the forms will let you self-tag.

How tags look

Tags are lowercase, dashed, short. Examples: christian, worship, bible-study, prayer, youth, marriage, missions, music.

Tags that trigger the Christian hub

Anything tagged with christian, worship, prayer, or church shows up on /christian. Topic pages like /christian/topics/bible-study aggregate by their own related-tag list — bible-study, study, devotional.

Etiquette

• 3–5 tags per item is plenty. More than 10 starts to feel spammy.
• Don't tag christian on content that isn't actually Christian — it dilutes the hub.
• Don't tag with your name or your business — tags are about topics, not authors.
