The gratitude wall & community stories
A space for thanksgiving, answered prayers, and testimonies — separate landing pages from the prayer chain but the same easy threading and reactions.
The prayer chain has three sister walls — all running on the same plumbing, each framed for a different kind of sharing:
- /prayers — 🙏 Active requests where the community can pray for you.
- /gratitude — 🌟 Thanksgiving, answered prayers, daily blessings.
- /stories — 📖 Testimonies, life updates, lessons learned.
Each page has its own URL, its own visual color (purple for prayers, amber for gratitude, teal for stories), and its own framing — but you can switch between them with the tab strip at the top of any of the three pages.
Gratitude wall
Different rhythm than the prayer chain. The button says Share gratitude, the prompts ask "what are you grateful for?", and there's no "Answered" toggle — gratitude posts are always already answered. Reactions still work the same: 🙏 / ❤️ / 🕯️ / 💪 plus threaded replies if you want to add a longer note.
Categories are the same as the prayer chain (health / family / work / spiritual / etc.) so you can browse all kinds of gratitude or filter to one.
Stories wall
Long-form testimonies, life updates, transformations. The form prompts you to write a full beginning-middle-end story. The reactions still work for quick reader response; the threaded replies are where people share their own similar stories or ask follow-up questions.
Why one plugin, three walls?
The boundary between prayer / gratitude / story is fluid — people often share a story that's secretly a prayer request, or a gratitude post that includes a testimony. Running all three on the same underlying table means a single moderation flow, a single notification system, and one place to look for "anything emotional from this community."
Reputation points
Posting on any of the three walls earns +3 (admin-tunable). Reacting to or replying to someone else's post earns +2 for your first response on each post.
