Find a Church Near You
Looking for a faith community? Use the directory below to find churches near you — by denomination, neighborhood, or worship style.
How to choose a church
Choosing a church is personal. Some people prioritize denomination, others look for a specific style of worship, and many simply want to walk into a room and feel welcome. Here are the questions worth asking before you commit:
- What does the worship look like? Some congregations sing traditional hymns; others lean toward modern worship bands. Visiting once tells you more than a website ever will.
- How is the teaching delivered? Sermon length, depth, and style vary widely. Listen to a recorded service if the church posts them.
- What is the community like? Look for small groups, Bible studies, or volunteer opportunities — these are where friendships form.
- Are kids and families integrated? If you have children, ask about Sunday school, youth groups, and family service times.
Visiting for the first time
Most pastors will tell you the same thing: just show up. You do not need to dress a certain way or know the songs. Walk in, sit somewhere comfortable, and stay for coffee after if there is a fellowship time. Many churches also have a "connect card" or app where you can introduce yourself privately and get a phone call from a pastor that week.
Listing your church
Run a congregation? Add it to the directory using the "List your church" button — fill in service times, denomination, contact info, and a short description. Verified listings get a check badge and show up first in search results.
